Welcome to my photography website. Thanks for stopping by. This website features photography projects and galleries of my favorite photos, which I hope you too will enjoy.
Who am I? I am the mother of three wonderful children living in west Texas where my husband serves in the U.S. Army. West Texas offers many great photo opportunities. Here are some of the family photos I have taken of my family.
My journey: My artistic journey with photography was born out of my love for creating art in various forms. In 2013, I started with my little point and shoot camera and soon found that I really loved photography. My next camera was a mirrorless camera, which I purchased in 2015 and have since upgraded to newer models. My favorite photographs are those documenting daily life, capturing life the way I see it. Although I am very serious about photography, I consider myself a hobbyist photographer who loves the challenges of various projects that I create for myself.
In 2021, my personal project comprised a color to focus on for photographs each month of the year.
In 2022, my 365 Project included taking photos (almost) every day for a year.
In 2023, my portrait project involved portraits of each of my three children every month. In this way, I was able to document how much they grew throughout the year.
My 2024 FILM project promises to be as unique and creative as the above projects. I cannot wait to see the results when I look back after the year is over.
